Steam generator working process

In the water-steam system of a steam generator, feedwater is heated to a certain temperature in the heater and then enters the economizer through the feedwater pipeline. After further heating, it is sent into the steam drum, where it mixes with the drum water and flows down the downcomer to the inlet header of the water-cooled wall. The water absorbs radiant heat from the furnace in the water-cooled wall tubes, forming a steam-water mixture that rises through the riser tubes to the steam drum. In the drum, the steam-water separator separates the water and steam. The separated saturated steam flows from the upper part of the drum to the superheater, where it continues to absorb heat and becomes superheated steam at 450°C, which is then sent to the steam turbine. In the combustion and flue gas-air system, the forced draft fan sends air into the air preheater, where it is heated to a certain temperature. Pulverized coal, ground to a certain fineness in the coal mill, is carried by a portion of the hot air from the air preheater and injected into the furnace through the burners. The mixture of pulverized coal and air from the burners mixes with the remaining hot air in the furnace and combusts, releasing a large amount of heat. The hot flue gas, after combustion, sequentially passes through the furnace, slag screen tubes, superheater, economizer, and air preheater. It then goes through a dust removal device to remove fly ash before being sent by the induced draft fan to the chimney and discharged into the atmosphere.
